Das IKT beschäftigt sich mit aktuellen Fragestellungen rund um die Themen Netzwerkkommunikation, drahtlose Übertragungssysteme und Audiokommunikation und Akustik. Wir erforschen Netzwerkanalysewerkzeuge und neue Technologien und Konzepte für das Internet der Zukunft, Software-Defined Radio Testbeds für neuartige Funkstandards wie 5G und 6G sowie Möglichkeiten immersiver räumlicher Audioaufnahme, Analyse und Reproduktion z.B. für interaktive AR/VR-Anwendungen.

Due to renovation work on the facade of the tower building, the IKT has moved out until further notice. The interim offices are located on the 5th floor at Appelstr. 11/11A.
